Dr. Tina N. Tillis is a native of Florida, born in Tallahassee. She is a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist and Fellowship-trained Glaucoma Specialist. She has been practicing since 1993. She attended Howard University on a full National Merit Scholarship where she graduated in the top 1% of her class. She completed her internship in Internal Medicine at Brown University in Providence, RI. Her ophthalmic research Fellowships were at The Eye Research Institute of Retina and Harvard in Boston, Massachusetts and the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD. Her Ophthalmic residency was done at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital of Washington University in St. Louis, MO.
